Logos and Typography and Branding, oh my!

Over the past several weeks, I have been working alongside small businesses in South Carolina. Through these partnerships, I have gotten to work on some incredible brands. Two of my favorites are “Soda City Combat Club” and “Midnight Software”- an MMA Gym and Software Startup, respectively. I’ve included some of the early drafts of our work below.

Having a bold logo is crucial to setting a strong first impression. Studies show that a large part of a person’s opinion of something is attributed to their first 30 seconds interacting with it. Love at first sight is rare, but with good marketing it is a breeze!

These kind of projects are always my favorite. If you’re looking to stand out with bold and unique logos or merchandise, please feel free to reach out!

Aleviating with Aleve

In this project, my team completed a conceptual marketing campaign alongside a well known brand

An example ad from our Digital Marketing Campaign for Aleve

While completing my post-graduate studies at Clemson University, I was given the opportunity to complete a mock marketing campaign for Bayer. In this project, our team was tasked with completing conceptual marketing campaigns for Aleve. The slides below contain my team’s final research data and marketing proposal. This experience gave me the opportunity to work hands-on with a well known brand, which has shown me how important proper brand management is. A brand is one of the most valuable intangible assets a company has, and must be brought to life through both products sold and media posted.

Qualitative Research: Retaining Customers

In the spring, our team had the opportunity to perform qualitative research for Clemson University. This project involved multiple research methods to uncover

At Clemson University, students are required to purchase a dining hall pass for their freshman year. These passes allow students to enter any of the dining facilities around Clemson’s campus. Although keeping retaining 100% of consumers as loyal customers is a lofty goal, returning students rarely purchase a dining pass again. To uncover insights as to why students were not renewing their pass, we conducted a series of research inquiries utilizing multiple qualitative research methods. Each is listed and explained further below.

Focus Group Work

In this project, our team was tasked with utilizing focus groups to discover what meal options students prefer in dining halls. Specifically, we dove deep into “healthy options” and what a good healthy menu is to students.

In this project, our team dove deep into online communities to gather data on consumer sentiments towards dining halls nationwide. Conducting our research in this way allowed us to discover what worked well at other facilities, and how we could improve at Clemson University.

Business Development

Check out some Digital Ads I made for small businesses!

The most beneficial Internship I’ve ever had was at the Clemson University Small Business Development Center. There I was able to work alongside local businesses to provide market research and craft marketing campaigns for them. These client partnerships took course over a few months, and were extremely helpful in developing my digital marketing skills. Below are some examples of ads I created in my time working for the SBDC.
